《英雄传说：空之轨迹》公布的动画PV将会收录与《空之轨迹》漫画第一册单行本的特别版里。这个特别版内将会有特制游击士手册，SAMPLE画像，还有一张DVD与一张新的DRAMA CD。DVD的详细内容是一支动画PV+有声活动漫画+游戏MOVIE集。

　　动画PV方面，由制作了《东京地震8.0》的动画会社kinema citrus负责制作。监督则是最新.hack//系列OVA的橘正纪，动画人设则是东京地震8.0的野崎あつこ。FALCOM还为这支PV特别编了空轨名曲《星之所在》的全新变奏版。

　　由于OVA动画不同于TV版电视动画，没有固定播出时间和集数，所以，目前该动画没有明确更新时间。
